Little Ben is a compact bud sport of Hinnomaki Red that stays very compact and is extremely productive. It grows only 2-3 feet tall, can be grown in a pot in tight urban spaces, or it can be planted in the garden for producing a ton of gooseberries in a small area.
Ruby berries of sweet flesh with a tart skin, creating a unique sweet and tangy combination.
Fantastic for pies and jams.
Mildew resistant and cold hardy zone 3-8.
